PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

Working in both non-fiction and fiction, Eric’s storytelling expertise has appeared on Netflix, Amazon Prime, distributed by Miramax and heralded as “an Oscar level piece of work” by film critics Ebert and Roeper. Other distribution includes: Sundance Now, PBS American Masters, Syfy, Gravitas, Travel Channel, Dream Entertainment, Independent Lens, Cinema Management Group, PBS AfroPop, Off the Fence, Liberation Entertainment, and NHK Japan.

His films have screened at top festivals: Sundance, Toronto, SXSW, Tribeca, SIFF and literally hundreds of others around the world. All together they’ve won 27 best Film/Documentary Awards, and 18 Audience Awards for Best Film/Documentary. In addition: 2 Social Justice Awards, an International Humanitarian Award, Spur Award from Western Writers of America, Best Editing Award, Media Justice Award, Best Social Issue Doc. Award, Best LGBTQ Doc. Award, Billie Award for Best Entertainment – Women’s Sports Foundation, International Humanitarian Award, Activist Award, and 2 Best Environmental Documentary Awards.

Eric has edited documentaries narrated by Ludacris and Hill Harper and fiction starring: Jeremy Renner, Minnie Driver, Andy Garcia, Beau Bridges, Jaime Chung, Dominic Monaghan, Tom Sizemore and Elise Eberle to name a few. He recently finished editing a six part documentary series on gaming and a feature starring Tom Skerritt and Mira Sorvino.
