The Business of Fancydancing
The Business of Fancydancing was Sherman Alexie's (www.fallsapart.com) directorial debut. The film was featured at the Sundance Film Festival and played in Landmark Theaters nationwide.
A poetic story of growth, death and the choices that define us, The Business of Fancydancing reunites Spokane Reservation best friends Aristotle Joseph (Gene Tagaban) and Seymour Polatkin (Evan Adams) sixteen years after their high school graduation.
Byrd Productions also created the Theatrical Trailer for the film.
From the Variety review by Dennis Harvey:
“DV lensing by Holly Taylor is uncommonly rich, with painterly, hyperreal effects. Editorial and sound elements are likewise imaginiative, untethered to linear form.”
