Take
Take is an exploration of rage, redemption, and forgiveness, and the power of restorative justice. The lives of two strangers—a struggling mother (Minnie Driver) and a gambling addict (Jeremy Renner)—converge in unspeakable tragedy. Years later, they must come to terms with themselves and one another. As two pivotal days, one past and one present, unfold in a non-linear mosaic, Take offers a powerful reflection on redemption and forgiveness.
Take has been awarded many festival awards, including the California Independent Film Festival's Slate Awards for Best Actress (Minnie Driver), Best Actor (Jeremy Renner), and Best Director (Charles Oliver).
